Clarification on list composition and scoring units:
Lists are to be written as follows; Round 1 = 1k + your free allies and monster/s. Round 2 = 1.5k + your free allies and monster/s. Round 3 = 2k + your free allies and monster/s. (See page 8)
Allies and monsters are free, they do not count towards your min/max spend on troops within your roster. They may take upgrades or magical items but must not exceed the 200pts allies or 300pts monsters limit when doing so. (See pages 9-11)
The free units & monster/s are scoring units for victory points calculation perposes (See page 12 paragraph 2). The points levels for each round shown on the tables are for points scoring perposes each round only.(See pages 16-18)
Hope this makes things clear - any questions just ask!

Some FAQ'S on Free Monster selection:
- Monsters which are only listed within army books as character mounts may not be taken as a free monster only as character mounts.
- Monsters listed within the Monstrous Arcanum which have kinship count as being loyal to that race i.e. Merwym with Kinship 'High Elves' counts as being a High Elf unit for the purpose of alignment and are classed as trusted allies. Furthermore Monsters who's Kinship is to a race from an opposing allignment i.e. your chosen army is Dwarves, but your monsters Kinship is to Vampire Counts = an alliance between Order and Destruction alligned forces, there fore the alliance is classed as desperate. The same applies where a Monsters alligment is non-alligned and the alliance is treated as suspicious.
- Monsters without any specified Kinship to any race may be treated as Allignable to your faction and may form a trusted alliance, but may not benefit from your army BsB.
- Monsters should be on the correct sized bases please ensure you check this prior to the event. If need be you may use an appropriate sized template to place your monster on to represent the correct base size rather than re-base your model/s.
- Monsters listed within the Monstrous Arcanum, Warhammer Armies Books, Storm of Magic etc... Do not have to be GW or Forge World models and may be represented by other suitable models but must be WYSIWYG. You may also use GW or Non-GW models to represent monsters such as a Black Dragon model to represent a Warpfire Dragon, so long as the correct base size is applied.

Confirmation on List Variation Between Rounds:
Army lists may vary between rounds, with variation of unit and character choices. The lists must however be chosen from the same Army Book for the duration of the tournament. For example if your Army is Dwarves round 1, then your army must be Dwarves rounds 2 + 3, but you may vary your list construction of characters and units chosen from the Dwarves Army Book.
Your Free Allies and Monsters may also vary each round. For example you may take a Warpfire Dragon round 1 and change this in your list round 2 for a Giant. Note:Allies and Monsters may not form a desperate alliance with your main force. For Example Bretonians (Forces of Order) may not choose free allies or Monsters from Orcs & Goblins (Forces of Destruction).

If you have not already paid please do so by Friday 17th. This is so that we can order the trophies and have them back from the engravers in time for the event.

Great Event!!!
Good to see that 8th ed isn't dead.
I thoroughly enjoyed all three games, including getting my ass handed to me by Luke Stout's dwarfs. All my oppies were a pleasure to play, and it was great to meet everyone there.
Particularly liked the escalating aspect, although this involved having to re-sort my minis between rounds.
I'll have a go at putting up battle reports of my three games later, though it will have to be from what I can remember and may get some details wrong.
Finally, thanks to Mark for organising a great event, the pizza and coffee, and reminding me what my T-shirt was for.

I'm having a little trouble making out the results, when I blow them up they're too blurry?
